One of the most interesting projects Dave has done for me was the construction of a music room in the lower level of my house. Dave took all of my odd requests in stride, including non-parallel side walls and a sloped ceiling (both with double layers of drywall), unusual electrical requirements, and 48 feet of recessed shelving strong enough to hold 2000 pounds of LPs!

While we interviewed a few builders, we chose to work with Dave because of the expertise he demonstrated. From the start it was clear that Dave was an expert on building techniques including the techniques used over 65 years ago, when our home was originally built. Throughout this complex project, Dave brought that expertise to bear, letting us know where we were and what to expect next. He was also sensitive to things that a less caring contractor might overlook. For example, Dave rearranged schedules to address concerns of our neighbors during our project. Once contruction started and rooms began to take shape it became clear that small changes were going to be inevitable. Sometimes you just can't tell that a door should open the other way until the wall is up and the doorway is built. When such situations arose we were thankful to find that Dave's caring attitude extended to his entire staff. In addition to being highly skilled, his team was always eager to answer questions and to make these changes.
